To me tessellation means to combine one piece of art to make an abstract and unique piece of art. My favorite image is the 3rd one because its very unique and the lights look like stars giving it a galaxy type of look. This project was really fun because i felt like i could express myself and make cool images out of simple pictures. I struggled with keeping the pictures in line. If i had to do this again i wouldn't change anything because i felt like i expressed myself nicely.

ISO 400 62mm 0 EV f/8 1/250 ISO 400 62mm 0 EV f/8 1/250 ISO 400 62mm 0 EV f/8 1/250 I learned about portraiture from going to the duck pond that having a good background and having god lighting is very important to having a good photo. The paper we were given that had poses for us to do were very helpful because without it our poses would not have been as specific. The reflector helped a lot because it put more light on the models face and made their skin look a little smoother without photoshop or anything. To retouch the photos I used the brush tool and took out any blemishes or scars. A portrait photographer usually takes pictures of families and high school pictures. the salary range for a photographer is between 17,000-63,000 annually. Portrait photographers usually charge 50 to 100 dollars per session.
"Beggin for Bacon" ISO 400 50mm 0 EV f/1.8 1/4,000 "Just Chillin" ISO 400 50mm 0 EV f/1.8 1/4,000 "Hands On With The Pig" ISO 400 50mm 0 EV f/8 1/4,000 "Salty Stacks" ISO 400 50mm 0 EV f/1.8 1/4,000 "Ripping the Pig" ISO 400 50mm 0 EV f/8 1/4,000 "Piggies Sleeping" ISO 400 50mm 0 EV f/1.8 1/4,000 I brought bacon for my food and the props I used was a wooden cutting board/platter, I also used a little plaid napkin. I learned from this project that the presentation of a simple food can make it look extraordinary, having a solid background is good because it puts more focus on the food, not to have any shadows in the picture, lighting can be important to giving the food a better and brighter look, and lastly to place the food in an unusual yet casual way so the photo isn't boring but so it also represents the food and the way it should be served or eaten. Some careers that involve food photography is a food photographer but also restaurant owners constantly use food photography to show their food off. Something is I was succesfull with this project was showing the colors of the bacon, I most likely wouldn't do this again because it is very hands on and I have more of a passion for taking photos of people.
I did a great job on this project and worked hard on finding things that would spell out my name, I used my first name and the first letter of my last name so Bly M. This project was lots of fun and I enjoyed it a lot since it had to do with my name. In photoshop I opened a 4 photo template and dragged each photo from my desktop onto the template, then I sized the photos so they are all even.
I chose this photo of a baseball player because I want to be a baseball player when I grow up. In 10 years i will be 27 so if everything goes as planned I will be playing professional baseball. The first step to Layer Masking is to take two images. For the image you want to layer onto the other you use the lasso tool and outline part of the image you want put over the first photo. After you do that you add a layer and then use the brush and touch up the edges and everything to make the layer look real. https://docs.google.com/a/vistausd.org/presentation/d/1jmiOEucqwnXZiGyb3IPaZ_Q0PANq8PGzShpFII1Z9B4/edit?usp=sharing
